Engineered without compromise, the new Moulton NS Rapide is the most technologically advanced bicycle ever created by Moulton.
Designed for performance road and all-road riding, the NS Rapide has at its core a refinement of the iconic Moulton New Series separable spaceframe, beautifully hand-crafted from a highly considered blend of Columbus Spirit, Reynolds 853, Kaisei NiCrMo and stainless steel. Paired with Moulton’s renowned Flexitor® front suspension and Hydrolastic® rear suspension, the NS Rapide delivers a ride quality unlike any conventional high-performance road bike - combining efficiency, control and comfort at speed.
For the first time in a production Moulton, the NS Rapide introduces the larger 20” / 451mm wheel platform. The increased wheel diameter enhances high-speed stability and handling, while also improving compatibility with the longer-cage rear derailleurs required by the latest 12- and 13-speed groupsets.
Combined with Moulton’s new aerodynamically optimised 50mm carbon wheelset and hydraulic disc braking, the NS Rapide sets a new benchmark for Moulton road performance. It is also the lightest separable Moulton available, offering a rare balance of speed, comfort and practicality.
Spec options:
- Configured as a pure road machine, the NS Rapide can be specified with a performance-focused handlebar and tyre package, optimised for maximum speed, precision and efficiency on fast road rides.
- For riders seeking all-road versatility, alternative handlebar and tyre options are available to enhance comfort, grip and confidence across broken tarmac, rough lanes and light gravel, without compromising the Rapide’s fast and responsive road character.
The NS Rapide remains compatible with Moulton’s original 20” / 406mm wheel format, allowing wider tyre options for more adventure-focused configurations for riders looking to extend its capability beyond all-road riding.
Whether built for uncompromising road speed or fast all-road exploration, the NS Rapide represents the definitive expression of modern Moulton performance engineering.
