Rubber Cone Spring (dry)

Sale price£86.43

The Dry Cone Rubber Spring is the heart of the Moulton Monosphere rear suspension system, providing the distinctive ride quality that has become synonymous with many classic Moulton bicycles. Moulded from durable rubber, the hollow cone operates in both compression and shear, producing a smoothly progressive spring rate that delivers comfort, control, and predictable handling across a wide range of riding conditions.

As a replacement moulded rear spring, this component restores the performance and compliance of the original suspension system, helping to preserve the comfort, efficiency, and unique character of your Moulton bicycle.

Compatibility: TSR, SST, APB, AM, Jubilee, XTB.

Please note:

  • Pilot holes for the securing screws are not pre-drilled and must be drilled during installation. Most models use four securing screws (included), although some use only two, and hole positions are not consistent between models.
  • On some older bicycles, the forward edges of the spring may require minor filing to allow the spring to sit flush within the spring shell.
  • Fitting instructions are supplied.
